Overview
We’re a company that builds. The next project on the list is a burger concept on the north shore of Kauai, and this role owns the launch, menu and operations, top to bottom.
Let’s be clear about what we’re building. A hole in the wall. Small footprint, high output. A window, a griddle, and a line of people who know exactly what they’re getting before they order. This is an everyman’s burger done right, done fast, at a price that brings people back twice a week. Small room, big numbers.
You won’t be doing it alone. We have a team behind you handling maintenance, admin, HR, and the rest of the noise so you can focus on the thing that matters. But make no mistake: the outcome sits with you.
We need someone ready to make mistakes, outwork everyone, beat the odds, and win. We don’t fail quietly around here. Building anything in a place this remote means fighting constraints daily: freight, labor, weather, cost. You’ll need to be the kind of person who finds that interesting instead of exhausting.
Key Responsibilities
- Build the menu from scratch. We have an initial concept, and it’s simple by design: burgers and fries. We’re not trying to be everything to everyone. We’re trying to serve the best burger and fries for the price at a high speed, period.
- Own the recipes. Patty blend, sauces, buns, fry program. Bench trials, spec sheets, cost per plate. If it goes on the menu, you build it and you can defend it.
- Get the shop open. Work alongside our buildout team on layout, equipment, and flow. Every square foot has to earn its place.
- Run the operation. In cooperation with the Regional Director, you will hire, train, schedule, order, hit your numbers. Set the standard on day one and hold it on day three hundred.
- Do it again. If this works, we’re not stopping at one.

- Doesn’t wait to be told

- Can take a punch – a Saturday rush, a broken fryer, or honest feedback
- Treats a P&L with the same respect as a griddle
- Believes a great cheap burger is harder to make than an expensive one
Who We’re Not Looking For
- Someone who needs a job description to know what to do next
- Someone with “that’s not my role” in their vocabulary
- Someone who wants a corporate ladder. This is a rope, climb it
Compensation
Base pay + tips + a bonus structure tied to what you build. Housing may be available. If this scales, you could scale with it.
