Full Job Description
Our client is looking for a Transportation Brokerage Pricing Manager to be the subject matter expert on current and emerging freight pricing trends.
You will earn a base salary of up to $120,000 per year, based on your experience. Plus, you will enjoy a wonderful benefits package! You will work 7:30am-4:30pm M-F in a hybrid setting.
To qualify for this position, you must have five (5) years of pricing and procurement in the freight brokerage industry. In addition, we require:
BA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related desired
Professional Certifications (CTB, CSCMP) are a plus
5+ years of pricing or procurement experience in the freight brokerage industry
Experience with Carrier 411, DAT and ITS
Strong knowledge of North American freight markets including spot, contract and seasonal fluctuations
Strategic thinker
Proven negotiation skills with carriers
Understanding of procurement best practices
Strong interpersonal skills
Exceptional time management
You will be responsible for:
Responding to daily pricing requests
Tracking market shifts, analyze freight trends and deliver insights
Evaluate, develop and manage pricing strategies
Performing daily analysis of spot and contract market conditions
Partnering with carrier sales and procurement
Leveraging historical data and forecasting models
Maintaining a pricing database
Creating real-time pricing models
Presenting pricing insights and performance metrics
Other duties as required
