Company Overview
Kwiksave Logistics is an established final-mile, same-day and time-critical logistics provider operating throughout Canada and the United States. We are expanding our U.S. owner-operator network and are seeking an experienced box truck owner-operator for a new dedicated account in the Boise, Idaho market.
The Opportunity
We are building our initial Boise commercial-vehicle operator team and are seeking a reliable, high-availability owner-operator who owns and operates a 5-ton/medium-duty box truck equipped with a hydraulic liftgate.
The work consists primarily of time-sensitive palletized and heavyweight freight deliveries throughout Boise and surrounding areas, with occasional longer-distance deliveries.
This is an opportunity to become a lead heavyweight operator in a new Kwiksave market as we build capacity and expand operations.
Compensation
- Earn 65% of applicable transportation revenue
- Potential gross earnings of approximately $7,000–$10,000+ per month for a high-availability lead owner-operator
- Commercial-vehicle compensation reflects the use and operating costs of your box truck
- Additional earning opportunities for after-hours and weekend deliveries
- Additional earning opportunities based on mileage, additional pallet positions, liftgate service, waiting time and specialized handling
- Commission-based independent contractor opportunity
- Earnings vary based on shipment volume, mileage, services performed and contractor availability
- Shipment volume and monthly earnings are not guaranteed
- Independent contractors are responsible for their own truck, fuel, commercial insurance, maintenance, taxes and other operating expenses
Responsibilities
- Transport time-sensitive palletized and heavyweight shipments throughout Boise and surrounding areas
- Safely load, secure, transport and unload freight
- Perform liftgate deliveries when required
- Handle single and multiple-pallet shipments
- Complete local and occasional longer-distance deliveries
- Provide flexible daytime, evening, overnight and weekend availability
- Deliver shipments within required service windows
- Update shipment and tracking information through mobile applications
- Maintain regular communication with Kwiksave dispatch
- Provide courteous and professional service at pickup and delivery locations
- Promptly communicate delays, service issues or equipment concerns to our operations team
After-Hours & Weekend Opportunities
We are seeking an owner-operator with strong availability across daytime, evening, overnight and weekend periods.
After-hours and weekend deliveries provide additional compensation, making flexible availability particularly valuable for a lead operator.
High-availability contractors will be prioritized during our initial onboarding and pilot phase.
Vehicle Requirements
Applicants must own and operate a commercial box truck suitable for palletized and heavyweight freight, including:
- 5-ton / medium-duty box truck
- Hydraulic liftgate
- Enclosed cargo box suitable for palletized freight
- Capacity for multiple standard pallet positions
- Appropriate cargo-securement equipment
- Pallet jack strongly preferred
- Clean, safe and professionally maintained vehicle
- Current commercial registration and appropriate commercial insurance
Contractor Requirements
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle operated
- Appropriate commercial vehicle insurance
- Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
- Experience transporting palletized freight strongly preferred
- Experience safely operating a liftgate
- Smartphone with reliable data service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional and customer-service-oriented
- Dependable and responsive to dispatch communications
- Ability to safely handle freight
- Ability to meet applicable background and driving-record requirements
- Reliable driving history
Launch
Kwiksave is currently recruiting and onboarding its initial Boise heavyweight owner-operator team, with pilot operations expected to begin in September 2026.
We are specifically looking for a strong initial operator who can grow with the market and become a core member of our Boise contractor network.
