Full Job Description
ASC Staffing Group is looking to hire a Class C Driver, with knowledge driving a 26 foot box truck for a distributor of Hispanic dairy products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, punctuality, and the ability to drive 26 ft. box truck.
Responsibilities
Operate and drive 26 ft. box truck
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
Transport freight efficiently between designated locations while following all traffic laws.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
Valid California DL C with a clean driving record.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Additional Information:
Food delivery experience is a preferred
Reliable and punctual
May be required to drive to San Diego facility
