This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while supporting our company’s growth.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate box trucks.Navigate routes using GPS systems to ensure efficient delivery schedules across over-the-road (OTR) driving routes.Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques or forklift assistance, adhering strictly to logistics cargo handling procedures.Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation).Deliver freight to designated locations accurately and on time, maintaining excellent customer service throughout each interaction.Follow all safety protocols during truck loading/unloading processes and while handling various types of freight such as refrigerated goods.Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, inspection reports, and incident documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.QualificationsProven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or truck loading and unloading roles.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred but not mandatory depending on vehicle type.Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient delivery execution.Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazard communication standards, and safety procedures related to hazardous goods transportation.Experience with refrigerated box trucksStrong manual handling skills with the ability to load/unload freight safely and efficiently.Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.Experience in white glove final mile service and installation of appliances.Embark on an exciting career path where your driving expertise makes a real impact!
