Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and customer service, as well as the ability to operate different types of trucks, including flatbed and refrigerated trailers.
Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including route driving logs and freight documentation.
Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
Manage manual transmission vehicles with proficiency.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise during transport.
Skills
Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers.
Strong understanding of route driving principles and navigation skills.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding safety protocols and documentation accuracy.
Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
