Summary
The Billing Clerk is presented with fulfilled sales orders (bills of lading) so that they can initiate the billing cycle. The process is very fast-paced and requires both fast and accurate data entry skills.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Retrieve sales information and work on system queue of customers to be billed for the day's billing cycle.
- Facilitate billing by inputting accurate information from the bills of lading so that the accurate freight charges can be applied.
- Post accurate information regarding: driver collect accounts, hold accounts, customer call-aheads, special-handling inspects, etc. to accounts.
- Enter all mandatory information into the billing system in order to generate the invoice.
- Review all information to ensure they match sales information before finalizing the invoice.
WORK SCHEDULE
This is primarily a Monday ' Friday 2nd shift position 1:00pm based on volume and concludes when all bills for the day are entered. Occasional mandatory overtime and/or weekend work may be required.
