A gaming company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Operations Manager to join their team in Torrance, CA. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the overall operational activities of the company. A bachelor’s degree, the ability to speak Japanese, strong computer skills, 2-3 years of operations, administration, logistics, and warehouse management experience is required. This is a full-time, in person, exempt position with excellent benefits and 401k.
Bilingual Japanese/English Operations Manager Duties:
-Oversee daily operations of Logistics and Warehouse functions
-Ensure coordination between Sales, Logistics, Warehouse, and other departments
-Develop, propose, implement, and improve operational policies, procedures, and best practices
-Monitor operational performance and recommend improvements to maximize efficiency and productivity
-Support executive management in planning and executing company operational strategies
-Supervise logistics activities including order processing, shipping, receiving, transportation coordination, and customer delivery schedules
-Understand and develop internal tools and/or processes to improve internal efficiency and accuracy
-Manage relationships with freight carriers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers
-Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
-Oversee warehouse operations including inventory control, receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
-Coordinate staffing plans, training programs, and employee development initiatives
-Provide regular operational updates and performance reports to executive management
-Complete special projects and company initiatives as assigned by company leadership
-Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards
-Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout logistics and warehouse operations
-Support internal and external audits as necessary
Bilingual Japanese/English Operations Manager Skills:
-Must have a bachelor’s degree
-Must speak, read, and write Japanese
-2-3 years of experience in operations, administration, logistics, and warehouse management experience
-Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations
-Must have strong computer skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/WMS systems (Dynamics) is a plus
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
