AZ/DZ Driver – Microbulk (Full Time) – Brampton, ON
Primary Purpose:
This position is accountable for the safe delivery of CO2, and/or Argon and Nitrogen at customer sites with microbulk installations . This position will be 4 x 10hr shifts (days of the week to be determined).
Key Accountabilities:
Delivery of microbulk products to scheduled various customers across Ontario via a tandem or single axle truck
Complete trip reports, fuel tickets and other necessary reports
Complete site surveys of equipment and identify potential repairs of tanks at customer locations
Ability to work Overtime as required
Cover “on call” phone responsibilities if required
Follow all safety protocol
Qualifications:
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent experience
Professional
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of AZ/ DZ driving experience
Valid, incident free, applicable provincial Driver’s License (AZ or DZ)
Able to manipulate a variety of cylinder sizes and weights as required
Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training
Strong aptitude for delivery technology (handheld computers, E-Logs)
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance
Safety first mentality
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
Other Considerations:
Mechanical aptitude
– Knowledge of compressed gases and the safe handling of gases
Available to work overtime
Cryogenic gas knowledge/experience
