MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
· PC and Windows literate; working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Access
· Candidates will have successfully completed training in the following areas: (NOTE: candidates may be exempt from participating in certain training sessions if they master the pre-testing for that particular skill area.)
3 Blueprint Reading Training(Books 1, 2, & 3)
3 WinSPC Training
3 Certified through Hol-Mac in the use of overhead cranes and rigging devices
3 Certified through Hol-Mac in the operation of forklifts
3 Measuring Devices Training on the following required measuring device(s):
· Tape measure (English and metric)
· Steel rule (English and metric)

1.0 General Job Description
Responsible for the improvement and/or upkeep of all Quality Assurance systems, trends, programs, and tools. Also responsible for the handling of non-conforming, items, development and implementation of new Quality Assurance processes and training of employees in the usage of precision measuring equipment; performs all other duties assigned to this job. This includes but is not limited to the below job duties.

2.0 Detailed Job Duties
2.1 Completing HBT Program (ol-Mac asic raining)
Task
2.1.1 Participating in training sessions
2.1.2 Abiding by the rules, regulations, and procedures stated in Hol-Mac’s Operating Policy and Personnel Manual
2.2 Abiding by Hol-Mac’s Environmental Health and Safety Handbook
Task
2.2.1 Wearing proper safety equipment and appropriate clothing in designated areas
2.2.2 Practicing safe lifting techniques
2.2.3 Inspecting overhead crane and rigging devices before use
2.2.4 Inspecting forklift before use
2.2.5 Inspecting equipment and tooling for wear and safety violations before use
2.2.6 Utilizing equipment and tooling in a safe manner
2.2.7 Following proper procedures when preparing, applying, storing, and/or disposing of hazardous materials (if applicable)
2.3 Performing inspection requirements

2.3.2 Documenting all inspected parts without fail
2.3.3 Entering all non-conforming parts into computer system, notifying purchasing and production of status
2.3.4 Identifying and selecting parts with an excellent quality history for certification, minimum one(1) per month
2.3.5 Issuing CCAN’s for re-occurring non-conformities, both internal and external
2.4 Performing calibration of tools/equipment

2.4.1 Calibrating all tools/equipment that are due for calibration quarterly
2.4.2 Documenting all calibrated tools/equipment without fail
2.4.3 Measuring for wear all thread gages per predetermined standard (Plant 2)
2.4.4 Performing all measurements with the aid of the Gagemaker software (Plant 2)
2.4.5 Ensuring all welding machines are calibrated annually
2.4.6 Calibrating all click torque equipment monthly and hydraulic torque equipment is calibrated every three (3) months or as needed, without fail
2.5 Performing audits
Task
2.5.1 Conducting a minimum of ten (10) operator audits each week with the emphasis on the previous week reject leaders
2.5.2 Conducting all weekly/monthly audits per established standard (e.g. paint audits, weld audits, etc.)
2.5.3 Performing all audits at the machine and entered into the system by COB of that day
2.6 Performing all necessary testing

2.6.1 Identifying all new weld designs during the pre-production meetings and scheduling to be verified during the prototype run
2.6.1.1 Performing destructive and non-destructive testing
2.6.1.2 Documenting results
2.6.2 Testing random production welds ultrasonically at a weekly minimum of two (2) per weld process
2.6.3 Investigating non-conforming welds along with appropriate department manager, operator, and production manager
2.6.4 Performing all Millipore testing per pre determined standard
2.6.5 Establishing benchmarks for Millipore tested piece parts at the rate of two (2) per week
2.6.6 Testing at least one (1) employee for his/her measuring skills on a weekly basis and providing results to HR
2.6.7 Scheduling all testing with appropriate supervisor to minimize production downtime
2.7 Training
Task
2.7.1 Performing all necessary training to Team Members
2.7.1.1 Training Team Members to pass the basic measurement tests (1, 1a, 2, 3)
2.7.1.2 Training CNC operators to pass the #4 and R&R tests
2.7.1.3 Performing additional training to Team Members with unacceptable measuring test scores
2.7.1.4 Providing results to HR for documentation
2.7.1.5 Training welders on proper use of weld gauge
2.7.2 Training all new employees on QA procedures and specifications within twenty-four (24) hours of hire (1st day on the job)
2.7.3 Conducting/Providing follow-up training and required testing after ninety (90) days
2.8 Participating in Continuous Improvement
Task
2.8.1 Submitting and implementing Continuous Improvement ideas on a weekly basis
2.8.2 Striving to achieve predetermined annual Waste Elimination goal(s)
2.8.3 Performing “5S” tasks daily without fail
2.8.4 Maintaining a minimum “5S” audit score of 90%+ in his/her area(s) per week

2.9.1 Completing requisition forms for consumables/supplies; communicating these type needs to designated person
2.9.2 Reporting maintenance problems
2.10 Handling RGA’s
Task
2.10.1 Ensuring all returned authorizations have been issued and faxed /e-mailed to the customer within twenty four (24) hours of request
2.10.2 Receiving all RGA’s within twenty-four (24) hours of arrival
2.10.2.1 Entering all information into the mainframe and Access database
2.10.2.2 Ensuring all in formation is complete and matches
2.10.3 Communicating in writing with the customer about RGA acceptance, status and disposition
2.10.4 The customer will be notified in within 1 week of determination of the part’s warranty status. If the Part is non-warrantable the customer will also be requested to decide the disposition of the part
2.10.5 Issuing credits and closing RGA files on all returned goods within 15 days of arrival
2.10.6 Disassembling all returned goods per RGA schedule unless otherwise instructed
2.10.7 Notifying shipping of any RGA products which are to be shipped, including warranty status and BPCS number to ship under
2.10.8 Submitting a list to SFC of the parts needed to repair or replace an RGA that is warrantable, within 2 days of determination of the warranty status
2.10.9 A returned part’s warranty status is determined within two weeks of receipt
2.10.10 Notifying production if a returned good is to be repaired within two (2) days of go-ahead to repair , whether it is warrantable or not warrantable
2.10.11 Notifying inside sales within 2 days of customer service’s knowledge of any debit or credits to customers which need to be issued, concerning freight or repair charges
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
