2. About the Opportunity:

The Associate Import CHB Coordinator role offers foundational experience in customs brokerage operations. This entry-level position supports customs entry preparation, documentation review, and operational tasks under guidance, contributing to compliance and service quality. The role serves as a platform for building knowledge and advancing within the customs brokerage function.

3. Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing and processing customs entries under supervision.

• Review shipment documentation for completeness and accuracy.

• Support compliance with customs regulations, client procedures, and internal policies.

• Escalate documentation or compliance issues as needed.

• Participate in training and development activities.

• Build knowledge of customs regulations and brokerage processes.

• Shadow senior team members to learn client and regulatory interactions.

• Support administrative and operational team activities.

• Maintain accurate shipment files and system records.

• Enter and manage data in brokerage systems.

• Assist with workload management and task completion.

• Identify and resolve basic documentation and processing issues.

• Collaborate with team members on operational challenges.

• Escalate complex issues to leadership.

• Communicate clearly and professionally within the team.

• Demonstrate reliability and a team-oriented approach.

• Perform other assigned duties.

4. Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Effective verbal and written communication.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.

• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

• Basic understanding of customs brokerage and import processes.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in relevant fields and prior exposure to logistics or customs brokerage.
