We are currently representing one of the PIF Developers in Saudi to assist them in their search for an Associate Commercial Director for one of their high-profile Giga projects in Riyadh.
This is an opportunity to be involved in delivering a major mixed-use/ entertainment master-planned development and were seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Associate Commercial Director to join their well-established and growing team in KSA.
The Associate Commercial Director is responsible for maximizing the commercial performance of the program and ensuring that targets, strategies, and policies are established and managed throughout the program’s lifecycle. The Associate Commercial Director will take a very holistic view of the project while managing a commercial team and be familiar with managing large-scale projects with a developer.
Your responsibilities will include:
Directing and supervising the commercial & cost management team providing support across the project.
Contributing to the implementation of the program strategy and the development of the specific project’s action plan.
Managing the client relationship and all the reporting responsibilities.
Reviewing contracts and making recommendations on commerciality.
Resolving issues with contracts and commercial operations.
Acting as a subject matter expert for cost and commercial on the project.
Ensuring that all stakeholders such as administration, operations, and finance understand and adhere to contractual obligations reflecting them accurately.
Monitoring performance of commercial activities using key metrics and preparing reports for senior management.
Supervising and motivating a multicultural team and ensuring all commercial objectives are delivered.
Qualifications:
BSc/BA in Quantity Surveying or Construction, or any relevant degree.
MRICS would be ideal or any other relevant certifications.
At least 15 years of relative experience in Commercial and Contracts Management.
Must be coming from a real estate developer in the GCC or with a strong experience in real estate developers.
