Role Overview: We are looking for an Associate Manager – Procurement & Logistics to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations, vendor management, and procurement strategies. This role will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, negotiating contracts, and ensuring efficient logistics operations to meet business needs while controlling costs and maintaining quality standards.

Procurement Responsibilities:

Vendor & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors for materials and services.

Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to optimize procurement costs.

Purchase Order Processing: Oversee purchase orders, approvals, and ensure timely procurement of goods/services.

Inventory & Demand Planning: Work with internal teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Cost Optimization: Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.

Logistics & Supply Chain Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Coordination: Manage the end-to-end supply chain process, including inbound and outbound logistics.

Freight & Transportation Management: Optimize transportation methods, costs, and delivery schedules.

Warehouse & Distribution Oversight: Ensure smooth storage, handling, and movement of goods.

Order Fulfillment & Delivery: Collaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Performance Tracking: Monitor logistics KPIs (on-time delivery, transportation costs, inventory turnover).

Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve procurement or logistics-related challenges.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), inventory management tools, and procurement software.

Negotiation & Vendor Management: Strong ability to negotiate contracts and build supplier relationships.

Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze supply chain data and optimize processes.

Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of import/export regulations, taxation, and supply chain laws.

Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
