Responsibilities And Duties
Identify and targetbusiness segments and prospective clients
Develop new client relationship within the Cross Border Trucker segment
Respond to inquiries and participate in tender bids from both Singapore and Malaysia clients and agents
Proactively follow up on leads, new customers, and routine order
Manage and responsible for the Profit and Loss of the Road Freight (Full truck load and less than truck load)
Provide regular reports detailing business development activities and account progress
Meet and exceed sales targets to drive revenue growth
Collaborate with various departments including control tower, customer services, operations, and finance to ensure timely fulfilment of customer requirements
Supply customer’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to the control tower
Ensure profitability of generated business at all times
Align target accounts and objectives with management directives
Maintain strong industry contacts and stay informed about market developments and regulatory changes
Undertake Road Freight related projects and assignments as directed by management
Uphold company and departmental quality standards
Monitor and ensure compliance with service commitments to customers
Other tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any field
Demonstrated minimum proven track records of 3 years in business development and sales within The Cross Border Trucking sales or operations will ne an advantage
