Global Technology is looking for Assistant manager (Commercial)
Job Description / Responsibility
Ensure that the task assigned by management is completed in a timely manner.
Maintain good liaison with the buyers, suppliers, forwarders, and bank for completing the documentation on time to smooth import.
Ensure online shipment booking & documentation for import in a timely manner.
Make sure proper correspondents with merchandiser, factory, buyer, shipping lines, freight forwarder, and other concerned offices accordingly.
Maintain files of each and every delivery or shipped the item and from time to time provide updates to the management.
Follow up with banks for receiving notification about the shipment documents, confirm the payment, and get the document released from the bank for clearing goods.
Ensure forwarding copies of important documents to Merchandising, Accounts, and respective departments of the company.
Understanding of documents required & acceptance process for Import.
Keep records of all agreements (Sales Contract, Back to Back, L/C, .)
Check & understand all terms and conditions of contractsprotect the company.
Any commercial-related task given by the management.
Maintains shipment records, discount adjustment record, logistic data update on MIS.
Maintains time & action chart, follow up open all BBLC.Proper records of all LC, Payment etc.
Collecting import shipping documents from suppliers on time and check these properly.
Follow up import proceed from suppliers.
Track the ETD & ETA status of each shipment.
Maintain import performance report weekly, Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly.
Follow with shipping line for vessel booking and shipmentadvise.
All Import shipment/ document release follow up.
Courier parcel status / release follow up.
Maintain in/out flow of payments (L/C, TT, etc.)
Check Pl, import documents.
Educational Requirements
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting & Information System
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting & Information System
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance & Banking
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
Experience Requirements
At least 3 year(s)
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
