Role Description The Assistant Fleet Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Valenzuela. This position supports fleet operations by monitoring vessel schedules, assisting with documentation, and coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and crew representatives. Day-to-day tasks include helping manage procurement requests, tracking deliveries of supplies and spare parts, and maintaining accurate records of fleet activities. The role also involves responding to inquiries from vessels and clients, supporting compliance with company procedures and maritime regulations, and helping resolve operational issues under the guidance of senior fleet staff. The Assistant Fleet Officer works closely with fleet officers to ensure vessels are properly supported, supplied, and ready for service.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for tracking fleet performance, managing data, and supporting operational decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills for interacting with crew members, vendors, internal teams, and clients.
- Candidates should possess Procurement and Supply Chain Management skills for coordinating orders, monitoring inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of vessel supplies.
- Relevant experience in maritime operations, logistics, or fleet administration is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Valenzuela, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Proficiency with standard office software and basic database or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Completion of a relevant college degree or vocational program (e.g., maritime studies, logistics, business administration) is preferred.
