Job Description
As an Armed Driver Guard, you will work with your team to ensure the safe pickup and delivery of cash, coin, and valuables.
Responsibilities
Drive automatic armored vehicles on designated routes servicing customer locations.
Service ATMs and Smart Safes.
Handle customer stops, including delivering change orders and collecting deposits.
Load and unload cargo, including coins and valuables.
Count items, record, and sign for cargo.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age.
Valid driving record for at least 3 years.
Ability to obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate via USDOT-approved medical examiners.
Possession of a valid firearms permit or ability to meet firearms requirements.
Working Conditions
Full-time schedule, approximately 40-50 hours/week, with some weekend work.
Most work performed in air-conditioned vehicles.
Qualifications
Applicants must complete a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE), which includes testing in areas such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and climbing. Specific requirements:
Lift 25 lbs vertically from 10 to 66 inches.
Carry 18 lbs vertically from 1 to 44 inches and horizontally transfer 15 ft; also, transfer 300 ft and 50 lbs over short distances.
Push 47 lbs force on a sled for 1 ft.
Use a hand dynamo meter requiring up to 30 lbs force.
Ascend/descend steps of 16, 21, and 24 inches, multiple times.
