Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth within a responsible area. This role involves leading and managing a team of sales supervisors and representatives, ensuring the achievement of area sales targets, expanding market presence, and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and distribution partners including development of fundamental business process. The Area Sales Manager acts as a strategic link between the field team and upper management, providing insights, reports, and recommendations to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

Produce accurate, actionable sales forecasts by combining analytical insight with a deep understanding of area and organizational sales dynamics.

Develop and implement area sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and business growth in several responsible area (monthly & annual plan)

Breakdown target for sales team in accordance with market potential. Set sales target and KPI’s for the area.

Continuously analyze market dynamics to identify growth opportunities, potential challenges, and areas for improvement, including the development of new outlets, distribution channels, and route-to-market strategies.

Manage regional strategic distributor to make sure implementation of Glico’s strategy and comply with regulation that has been agreed from both parties.

Lead, coach, and train sales team to achieve targets and manage team performance evaluation.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree from any majors, preference from management

Have experience to sell FMCG products more than 7 years.

Having experience as area sales manager or regional sales manager in FMCG company minimum 3 years. Required a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets .

Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills

Ability to plan, organize and achieve effective time management

Ability to coach, mentor or help others to improve their knowledge, skill and abilities

Able to speak in English (both written and verbal)

Ability to develop relationship, to interact with all levels in highly diverse, multicultural environment

Ability to travel within the Area as needed

Willing to be placed anywhere according to company needs
