ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Amazon FBA Shipment Specialist to manage the end-to-end replenishment and inbound shipment process for Amazon Seller Central. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, analytical, and experienced in inventory planning, FBA logistics, and Amazon operations.
You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure inventory is replenished efficiently, shipments are created accurately, and any inbound issues are resolved promptly.
A DAY IN YOUR LIFE:
- Build and maintain Amazon FBA replenishment and restock plans using sales velocity, inventory levels, and demand forecasting, proactively identifying products at risk of stockouts.
- Create and manage inbound shipment plans within Amazon Seller Central, including placement option selection and split-shipment handling.
- Generate, prepare, and upload Send-to-Amazon (STA) bulk files and shipment manifests.
- Coordinate carton and box labeling by generating FNSKU labels and shipping label packets for warehouse or 3PL application.
- Monitor inbound shipment status from In Transit → Receiving → Closed, proactively identifying delays, exceptions, or issues requiring attention.
- Investigate and document shipment discrepancies, including units shipped versus units received, and support Amazon reimbursement case submissions.
- Incorporate promotional calendars and anticipated demand spikes into replenishment planning to maintain healthy inventory levels.
- Maintain shipment documentation, inventory trackers, and cycle documentation while providing regular status updates to internal teams and clients.
- Manage and maintain client-specific workbooks and reporting tools.
- Participate in client meetings as needed to discuss shipment status, inventory planning, and operational updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams, warehouses, freight providers, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure timely shipment execution.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience managing Amazon FBA operations using Amazon Seller Central.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Amazon Seller Central inventory management, shipment creation, and case logs.
- Amazon FBA shipment creation and management, including standard inbound placement, Small Parcel Delivery (SPD), and Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments.
- Amazon Warehousing & Distribution (AWD) shipment creation and management.
- Experience generating and uploading Send-to-Amazon (STA) bulk files and shipment manifests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and formula-driven forecasting models
- Experience generating FNSKU labels, shipping labels, and coordinating carton/box labeling.
- Basic understanding of Amazon FBA fee structures, storage limits, and Inventory Performance Index (IPI) score.
- Experience coordinating freight and carrier shipments, including Small Parcel and LTL/palletized freight.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact directly with clients.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
