Working Location: Klang (HQ Office) + Require traveling to KLIA for operational and business needs
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily airfreight operations across Malaysia to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Supervise and develop the airfreight team, providing guidance and support to achieve operational targets.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with airlines, GSA agents, warehouse operators, and other business partners.
- Ensure all airfreight shipments are handled accurately, on time, and in a profitable manner.
- Monitor shipment status and ensure compliance with IATA regulations, company procedures, and payment requirements.
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to customer needs and resolving operational issues effectively.
- Support company compliance with standards and carry out additional duties or projects assigned by management when required.
Requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Ocean and/or Air Freight industry.
- Familiar with freight forwarding operations and commercial functions such as business development, tender management, and customer management.
- Good network and industry contacts within the Ocean and Air Freight market.
- Strong commercial mindset with good understanding of freight forwarding services.
- Good analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
