Position: Airfield Equipment Operator with Machinery Focus
Fulfill a vital role in airport operations as an Airfield Equipment Operator. Operate machinery such as snowblowers and asphalt patchers while prioritizing safety.
In this position, you will ensure the proper maintenance of airport surfaces and perform necessary labor tasks. Responsibilities include equipment management, pavement patching, and participating in a FOD control program. Your involvement will significantly enhance airfield efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate various heavy, medium, and light equipment
• Conduct maintenance activities like changing plow blades
• Perform pavement patching on essential surfaces
• Assist with the repair of fences and signage
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
• 1–3 years operating heavy machinery
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license is mandatory
• Possess or obtain Class 1 or 3 license with air brakes
• Successful completion of a drug test required
• Willingness to work shifts and on-call
