A Houston forwarder is adding a mid-level air and ocean specialist to run shipments end to end. You'd manage your own files across import and export and work directly with clients and carriers.
Day to day
- Manage air and ocean shipments, import and export, from booking to delivery.
- Prepare the documentation, including MBLs, HBLs, AWBs, commercial invoices and certificates of origin.
- File ISF and AMS, book carriers and co-loaders, and handle customs clearance.
- Keep clients updated and resolve problems before they escalate.
You'll fit if
- You have at least 3 years in freight forwarding across air and ocean.
- You are confident with INCOTERMS, documentation and customs processes.
- You work accurately under pressure and respond quickly to clients.
- Your background is in forwarding, not warehousing or domestic trucking.
On offer
- $75,000 base.
