**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Import Supervisor to oversee and manage the importation process for our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing import operations.
**Responsibilities:**
– Plan and coordinate import shipments to ensure timely pickup and delivery
– Manage relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers
– Ensure compliance with all import regulations and documentation requirements
– Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
– Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise
– Oversee inventory management related to imported goods
– Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking and reporting

**Skills:**
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
– Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
– Mechanical knowledge for handling imported goods
– Experience in logistics, including 3PL operations
– Proficiency in process improvement techniques
– Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to imports
– Strong team management skills to lead import teams effectively
– Understanding of warehouse management systems for inventory control
– Experience in distribution center operations
– -Fluency in Mandarin is a plus
— AT Least 1 year experience in handling air import cargo
