Air Import Customer Service Specialist Jobs in Industry, CA at The Topocean Group
The Topocean Group has grown to become one of the world’s leading freight forwarding and logistics service providers. We currently have an opening for a motivated individual who can provide a high-end customer service experience in the position of a full-time Air Import Customer Service Specialist.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
(Processing Files from A-Z)
Prepare, handle, and process documentation- including house and master air waybills, commercial documents, and customs/regulatory documents.
Accurately track and trace cargo
Dispatch freight
Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, other Topocean offices worldwide, and co-workers through email, phone, instant message, and in person.
Monitor reports
Accurate and timely client billing
Contribute to maintaining strong vendor relationships- airlines, trucking companies, and others
Maintain compliance standards at all times- including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, and customer requirements
Meet key performance indicators to support department, branch, product, and company goals
Desire to understand overall department process flow and constantly seek opportunities for improved efficiency
Create and maintain customer SOPs
Provide customer quotes on request
Acts as go to person for assigned key accounts
Assist department head with administrative functions as needed.
