Air Import Operator
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Air Import Operator to manage international import shipments from arrival through final delivery. The ideal candidate will handle full A–Z import operations, ensuring timely shipment processing, regulatory compliance, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage air import shipments from pre-alert to final delivery.
- Process shipment documentation and maintain accurate files.
- Coordinate with overseas agents, airlines, truckers, warehouses, customs brokers, and customers.
- Arrange customs clearance and inland transportation.
- Track shipments, resolve issues, and provide proactive customer updates.
- Audit costs, process billing, and close files accurately.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of air import freight forwarding experience.
- Strong knowledge of import documentation and customs processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.
