Our client, a prominent freight forwarding company, is seeking a skilled Air Export & Ocean Export/Import Coordinator to join their team in Miami. As an Air & Ocean Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the export process for both air and ocean shipments, along with Ocean Imports ensuring efficient and timely deliveries to customers.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee air and ocean shipments from initiation to completion, handling the process from start to finish
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and relevant export/import requirements
Process and manage documentation for customs clearance and export/import compliance
Provide regular updates on shipment status to both customers and internal teams
Resolve issues or challenges that may arise during the export/import process
Manage billing and invoicing for air and ocean shipments
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in air and ocean coordination, preferably in a freight forwarding environment
Knowledge of customs regulations and export/import requirements
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
Familiarity with airfreight and ocean carriers and their rates
