This is an excellent opportunity for a freight forwarding professional with strong air export experience who enjoys managing shipments from booking through final delivery and working closely with customers, carriers, overseas offices, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full air export shipment lifecycle from booking through final delivery
- Coordinate air export shipments with airlines, trucking companies, overseas agents, and customers
- Prepare and process export documentation, including MAWBs, HAWBs, commercial invoices, packing lists, and other required documents
- Arrange airline bookings and coordinate cargo pickup and delivery
- Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate updates, delays, and exceptions
- Ensure shipments comply with applicable export regulations and company procedures
- Prepare and submit AES/EEI filings as required
- Coordinate with overseas offices and international partners to ensure smooth shipment movement
- Handle customer inquiries, rate requests, shipment updates, and issue resolution
- Review and verify shipment documentation for accuracy
- Maintain accurate shipment records and update the company’s TMS/operating system
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and other operational tasks as required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and overseas partners
Requirements
- 2+ years of international freight forwarding experience
- Strong Air Export experience within a freight forwarder
- Knowledge of the complete air export process from booking through final delivery
- Experience with export documentation and AES/EEI filings
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with airlines, trucking companies, and overseas agents
- CargoWise experience is highly preferred
