Requirement For AGM Logistics For Food (Bakery) Retail Company

Oversee dispatches of finished bakery products like Cakes and pastries, Bread, Brownies, Cookies and Sandwiches etc. from Manufacturing units to outlets across country within defined timelines and quality standards in co-ordination with regional logistics team.

Optimize end-to-end supply chain flow from manufacturing units to warehouses, and finally to Outlets /Guest (Direct/ Special Deliveries).

Establish SOPs for vehicle loading/unloading, routing, deliveries and returns.

Ensure time-bound deliveries to all outlets within a defined delivery window.

Ensure effective outbound logistics operations including vehicle allocation, route optimization, timely deliveries, and real-time tracking.

Ensure compliance with cold-chain protocols for perishable bakery items.

Monitor transporter performance, adherence to SLAs, delivery timelines, and resolve issues proactively.

Oversee fleet operations (owned/leased), fuel management, driver scheduling, and maintenance planning.

Analyze logistics costs Per KM and work on continuous improvement plans to reduce transportation cost.

Implement route planning tools, TMS (Transport Management Systems), and process automation to improve efficiency.

Identify bottlenecks and implement lean logistics practices.

Provide training and mentoring to improve team capabilities and performance, doing periodic performance reviews.

Ensure all logistics operations are compliant with food safety, FSSAI norms, vehicle permits, GST, and other statutory requirements.

Ensuring services should comply with contract norms and statutory requirement

Maintain accurate records of dispatches, vehicle utilization, freight cost analysis, and generate regular reports for senior management.

Develop roadmap to support distribution to company’s outlets (existing as well as new)

Plan future capacity requirements and make necessary arrangements

Coaching and guiding logistic partner to improve quality of operations and implement best practices of distribution and warehousing

Implement SCM initiatives within the region and be the interface between stores and logistics partners, direct delivery vendors.

Responsible for ensuring zero deviation in cold chain compliance by doing periodic audits.

Ensure timely payments to vendors, obtaining NDC, Freight provisioning, Vendor performance review at set frequency

Controlling in-transit damages with innovative thinking and application.

Co-ordinate with regional logistics team for completing system entries on timely manner (GRR, pending TO, reverse orders, posting invoices, E-invoice etc.)

Graduate, preferably PG in Supply Chain Management.

Minimum 10 years of experience in Logistics and freight management (Preferably in QSR/Ecom) in which at least 3-4 years of experience in handling logistics operations at PAN India Level
