Task Responsibilities:
Task Responsibilities: Material Receiving function
Receive incoming aircraft parts and other supplies delivered to Cargolux premises
Inspect packages for signs of shipping damage
Open and unpack shipments
Control Part numbers, Serial numbers and quantities in adherence to the shipper’s invoice and the Cargolux order
Raise a Receiving Discrepancy report and updating the master log as required
Prepare the shipment for Quality Control acceptance
Enter the receiving data into the TRAX system
Maintain filing records
Work closely with connected departments
Maintain the work area and its surroundings in a clean and orderly state
Essential Requirements For The Position:
Secondary technical education, accomplished apprenticeship in a technical field or equivalent
Be customer focused and have a co-operative attitude
Have good communication skills and able to work with a team
Fluency in written and spoken English, French would be considered as a distinct advantage
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook)
Hold a valid B class driving license. A C class license would be considered a distinct advantage
Have experience or at least an aptitude in forklift driving. Training will in any case be given and test passed
The Position Holder must achieve clearly defined tasks, goals and results
Being responsible for the adherence to all internal procedures when performing his/her duty and must use best practice at all times
Working Conditions:
Permanent position based in Luxembourg
Flexibility of working hours is required
A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment
