Job Description
We are in search of an EXPERIENCED aerial equipment and diesel technician/mechanic to join our team. The candidate must be able to work on various makes and models of heavy construction equipment. The employee will be in the shop but will also work off-site. The job requires tools, a valid driver’s license, experience in the HEAVY EQUIPMENT industry is a plus, a strong work ethic, and enthusiasm in the workplace.
Tools and training are offered, and any years of experience in diesel mechanics are acceptable. We need field and on-site technicians.
We offer the new hire a positive work atmosphere here at our family-owned business. The equipment rental department works together as a team to accomplish day-to-day tasks. The hire will receive health, dental, eye, and 401k match.
Responsibilities
Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailer equipment.
Conduct regular preventative maintenance and periodic maintenance.
Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop.
Perform regular diagnostic tests on equipment with and without proprietary manufacturer communication software.
Collaborate with other employees and management to diagnose problems and plan repairs.
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
CDL Driving License (Class A is a plus).
Desired Qualifications/Skills
5+ years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
Knowledge in Heavy Equipment Hydraulics, Electrical, able to troubleshoot.
Ability to use manufacturer software for diagnoses.
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
Excellent reading and writing skills.
Basic Computer Skills.
