Administrative Assistant, Logistics (Afternoon/Evening/Weekend)
Logistics team seeking a 2nd shift admin assistant/customer service dispatcher to help with cargo monitoring in trucking shipments across the US.
A great candidate will have Spanish language skills, as well as enjoy operating in a fast-paced environment. They should also have exceptional data entry, communication and organizational skills to be able to assist with planning and communication for cargo to be loaded and arrive at delivery destinations on-time and in good condition.
Ideal candidate would have professional success in Data Entry/Customer Service and LTL or logistics roles.

This role is required to be in the office. Ability to monitor detailed information to support our office’s relationships with customers and everyone involved in the transport of products is required.
OBJECTIVES:
Assist dispatch team with data entry, updating clients, and accurate reporting.
Maintain accurate information for day/night freight tracking.
Coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Office duties (phone calls, emails, and collaborate with office team)
Organize and schedule appointments on shipments
Prepare daily information needed for tracking freight
Share information with suppliers and dispatching of orders
REQUIREMENTS:
Availability for afternoons/evenings (e.g., 10 AM to 6PM) and some second shift coverage, (e.g., 2 PM to 12AM), schedule may change seasonally per operations
Spanish language speaking skills preferred
Attention to detailed information, and focus on accuracy
Candidate with retail/grocery store or roadside assistance/ Dispatcher, Military logistics roles may be best positioned for this job.
Strong customer service orientation, focus on details, and excellent work ethic
Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player who excels in a fast-paced environment
Excellent and effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
Ability to quickly process information and make decisions
Strong computer skills.
Interest in logistics/transportation industry; familiarity with full or LTL shipment services
