Robert Mazza, Inc. is a family run operation consisting of three wine brands (Mazza Vineyards, Mazza Chautauqua Cellars, South Shore Wine Company), a distilled spirits brand (Five & 20 Spirits) and a craft beer brand (Five & 20 Brewing) located between two main locations located along Lake Erie in North East, PA and Westfield, NY. Mazza has grown to be the largest producer in Pennsylvania and draws from over 550 acres of grapes and grains annually. Responsibilities
This position requires an experienced accounting professional with a strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices and a focus on accounts receivables. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Compliance and Logistics Coordinator, this position is an integral part of a dynamic team in supporting a growing and evolving organization.
Invoicing of wholesale, contract, bulk and freight customers in timely manner
Prepare and maintain regular statements, aging reports, communicate with customers, and manage receivables and collections efforts
Reconcile and ensure accuracy of all receivables
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to customer payments
Make and reconcile cash, credit, check, electronic deposits
Conduct other related processes (donation and trade invoicing, special contract client and management contract reconciliations, etc.)
Support bank reconciliations
Generate out of state sales reports and other sales related reports for compliance purposes
Generate and populate sales and receivable related dashboards and reports
Maintain distillery and winery case goods inventory
AR and related filing and organization – both paper and virtual
Assist with month-end and quarter-end closings
The candidate must work effectively as part of the accounting and compliance teams to both provide necessary financial information.
The candidate must be able to organize and complete work in an effective and efficient manner. Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks is a necessity as is the desire to drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor’s in accounting or related field
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accrual accounting principles/GAAP
Experience with manufacturing/cost accounting
Experience with financial reporting and analysis
Proficiency in Quickbooks (Pro Advisor certification beyond initial level preferred), Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Willingness to learn new software
Excellent attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week
