Description
CV Technology is looking for their new Accounts Receivable Specialist . This position s responsible for managing customer accounts with a focus on ensuring timely payments, following up on overdue balances, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining accurate receivables records. This position plays a key role in supporting cash flow and minimizing aged receivables through proactive communication and account oversight. This position is 100% in-office located at our Jupiter, FL headquarters. This is a non-exempt hourly position with normal work hours of 8:00am-5:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports on a regular basis.
Contact customers via phone and email to follow up on past-due invoices.
Document all communication and collection efforts in the accounting system.
Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Customer Service, Shipping) to resolve billing issues or disputes.
Provide regular updates to management regarding high-risk or delinquent accounts.
Apply payments accurately to customer accounts and support cash application as needed.
Prepare reports and summaries related to collections activity and A/R status.
Assist with month-end closing activities as they relate to accounts receivable.
Support credit checks and help assess customer payment risk when requested.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Experience with ERP or accounting software (e.g., Epicor, NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow through on commitments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in B2B collections and dealing with large or complex customer accounts.
Familiarity with commercial invoice terms, freight charges, credit memos, and purchase orders.
Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) is a plus but not required.
