Western Peaks Logistics is the premier same-day/next-day and last-mile freight-forwarding, delivery, and logistics solutions provider serving the Rocky Mountain West.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, billing, accounts receivable, payment applications, and account reconciliations. We are looking for individuals who are collaborative, detail oriented, self-motivated, and who want to build a long-term, rewarding career.
Starting Pay: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour DOE

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 – 2 years Customer Service experience
1 – 2 years Accounts Receivable a plus
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service.
Accurately complete weekly and monthly billing in a timely manner.
Correctly record and apply customer payments in a timely manner.
Assist in collection efforts and resolving customer disputes.
Complete additional tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Ability to organize, track and complete multiple tasks.
Comfortable learning new technologies.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbally.
Motivated to learn, take responsibility, and focus on continuous improvement.
Previous office and/or accounting experience (preferred).
Experience in the transportation industry (preferred).
