Job Description:
We are an international Freight Forwarding Company and is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of accounting experience and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles. This role involves handling Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), account reconciliation, and other general accounting tasks to support our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Minimum 1 year of accounting experience in Freight Forwarding industry.
· Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
· Assist with invoice processing, payment posting, and collections follow-up.
· Maintain organized financial records and support month-end closing activities.
· Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding accounting matters.
· Assist in general bookkeeping, data entry, and reporting as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Proficiency in basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
· Experience with account reconciliation, AP, and AR.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (preferred but not required).
· Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
