ADP Logistics and Services is seeking a Truck Driver.
Job Summary:
The primary role of the Driver is to transport freight between pre-determined locations in a safe and timely manner, following company guidelines and DOT regulations. The Driver will also assist in loading and unloading of trucks, as well as general warehouse duties. The Driver reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Essential Duties:
·Safely operate a motor vehicle in a high-traffic environment, including but not limited to: loading and unloading trucks, working on vehicles for repairs, walking, standing, bending, stooping, walking for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, and working with small children.
·Follows all company safety procedures and adheres to all DOT regulations.
·Loads and unloads trucks as needed.
·Follows company operating procedures for traffic control and lane usage.
·Follows all safety policies and procedures.
·Maintains clean work area within vehicle and outside of vehicle.
·Follows all warehouse operations procedures for inventory control.
·Completes daily inventory check with the Supervisor.
·Completes daily vehicle cleaning check with the Supervisor.
·Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skills:
·High School Diploma or GED required. Certificate, Diploma or GED is preferred.
·1-3 years’ experience driving a truck preferred. Experience driving 20-26′ box truck preferred.
·Basic knowledge of warehouse equipment preferred (i.e., forklift, pallet jack, forklift).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
