Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26 ft box truck to deliver goods to multiple locations according to scheduled routes
- Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, etc.
- Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and route logs
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
- Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to maintain a secure work environment
- MUST BE FLEXIBLE
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the truck to ensure optimal performance
Requirements
- Must be 23yrs of age for insurance purposes.
- Clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred
- MUST HAVE VALID STAR ID on drivers license – must be able to access military bases
- Medical Card required
- Three years box truck experience with a focus on route driving and load management
- Ability to perform some lifting and physical tasks regularly during loading and unloading processes
- Familiarity with pallet jacks.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude in all interactions
- Experience picking up from a warehouse environment with dock doors is required.
- Excellent driving skills with knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws
